Reiki can be learned by anyone, at any age or background. It is not a religion and will fit into whatever spiritual belief system you may have. It is not necessary to become a professional practitioner of Reiki to derive the benefits to your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual self. Along with the physical, emotional and mental components of being human, we also have an unseen component, our life force or chi, which is an integral part of the whole human package. The Chi or Life Force flows through our chakra system as a non physical force or energy.
After learning Reiki most people have an increased sense of awareness a stronger connection to themselves and those around them. Many experience warmth in their hands and an awareness in their hearts that they have not felt for a very long time, if ever.
How Does Reiki Work
Reiki involves the laying on of hands, gently on or slightly above the body. There is no manipulation of the skin or muscle tissue. All things have a life force and energy flows in and around it. In many, this flow becomes depleted, blocked or compromised, contributing to a lack of well being.
Practitioners of Reiki gain a heightened awareness of the Ki in themselves and others. Through a series of hand positions, the practitioner can often sense energy discard and focus their attention to that area. The Practitioner acts as a conduit for this healing energy that surrounds all living things, giving support to those in need and enhancing any and all situations presented to it.

The L J Health & Wellness Centre in Nerang is a Reiki Healing Centre that provides Certified Reiki Courses that teach students to heal both themselves and others. Reiki helps balance the chakras, improve physical vitality, increase emotional well-being and enhance spiritual clarity.
The Transmission of Energy
There are 5 levels or degrees within Reiki and each one includes attunements.
Reiki is passed on today through attunements. An attunement is a sacred process where a Reiki Master / Teacher activates the Universal Healing Energy and passes it on to the initiate who then in turns uses the energy for the laying on of hands to help themselves and / or others.
Once attuned to Reiki initiates have the energy for the rest of their lives for personal expansion on all levels of body, mind, emotion and spirit. An offshoot of Reiki is its therapeutic use in the process of physical, mental and emotional healing. There are Five Levels or Degrees of Reiki and each of these include attunements.
The initiate also receives the Ancient Sanskrit Symbols for activating the higher levels of the energy when they receive each degree.
Reiki One – 1st Degree Was $290 Now 250
The student receives four attunements, given over two days. This activates the energy and opens the healing centres in the hands. The student also receives the first symbol. The first symbol activates and turns on the energy. This is where you learn to ground and run the Reiki Energy for meditation and self healing.
Reiki Two – 2nd Degree Was $360 Now $290
The Student receives a further four attunements and two new symbols over two days (with this comes a tremendous increase in the energy). The second symbol is specifically for aligning the heart, throat, brow and crow chakras for emotional healing. It is also helpful in releasing stress. The third symbol is for distance healing. Helping to heal the effects of the past, present and future.
Reiki Three – 3rd Degree Was $550 Now $390
The student receives a further two attunements and a fourth symbol over two days. It has a tremendous impact on ones connection with their higher self and divine purpose. It moves one from job to vocation and catapults them into the fifth and sixth dimension where there is a tremendous acceleration of healing energy.
Reiki Master ( 5 Days ) Was $1200 P.O.A
The student receives two more attunements and the instruction on how to master the art of healing. There is a tremendous acceleration in ones personal energy, healing and spiritual growth.
Reiki Master / Teacher ( 5 Days ) P.O.A.
You receive the final two attunements and the fifth (master) symbol. With this symbol a master teacher can now not only teach Reiki to others but can give Reiki attunements to other and make other Reiki Masters. A journey well worth the experience.

This workshop includes water, tea and coffee, lunch, and an in-depth workbook for each student. This workshop is primarily held on the Gold Coast, and may be available in other areas as requested and booked according to numbers enrolled.
We will do our best to accommodate your dietary requirements, however if you have specific needs feel free to bring your own food and drink bottle.
